Pain scraped down Xallion’s back, he quickly jolted awake and glared at his father’s Litleo; who simply purred and bounded back downstairs. Xallion slid out of his bed and tiredly walked downstairs.
“Dad, can’t you keep your Litleo in her Pokeball until she’s trained..?” Annoyance thickly coated Xallion’s tone.
His father chuckled, “one way to train a Pokemon is to keep it out of it’s Pokeball~.”
Xallion sighed, he hated his father’s thoughts on training. A Shuppet flew around Xallion a couple of times before joining Xallion’s father on the couch. Xallion went into the kitchen and began putting a bowl of cereal together.
“You’re late for something, are you not?”
“Am I late for something..?” Xallion asked as he drenched the cereal in milk.
“Does meeting Astraea in Shalour ring a bell?”
Xallion shrugged, “She can wait until I finish my cereal.”
Xallion sat next to his father and began eating corn pops. A sound echoed from Xallion’s room and the teen looked towards the stairs nervously.
“Speaking about keeping your Pokemon in its Pokeball…” His father mumbled.
A Mew flew down the stairs, complaining loudly. The sparkling blue Mew perched on Xallion’s shoulder’s and had it’s tail wrapped around his neck, tugging it lightly.
“Myuu, I’ll get dressed when I finish eating!” Xallion growled.
Xallion petted Myuu lightly as it continued screaming, though it calmed down after a moment. Once Xallion finished eating he carefully stood up and placed his dirtied dishes in the sink before heading to his room to get dressed. Myuu sat on Xallion’s bed as he changed into his red shoes and pants, his black and white striped shirt and a pink jacket. On top of his orange hair rested a red fedora which caused his orange eyes to sparkle lightly.
Xallion headed to the front door, “See you later, dad!”
“Take the bag.” His father said, talking about the black and blue bag that rested next to the door.
“Alright!” Xallion replied, grabbing the bag and leaving the house towards Shalour city.
Half way between Genosage and Shalour city Xallion peeked into the bag and found the typical potions and snacks, though one thing was out of place; a Pokeball. Xallion pulled it out and half-heartedly threw it; a Shuppet flew out and floated around Xallion’s head while chanting its name.
    “I hate Shuppets…” Xallion muttered.
He picked up the Pokeball and put the Shuppet back into its home before putting it back into his bag. Xallion continued to Shalour without anything exciting happening. Xallion went into the Tower of Mastery to meet up with his old friend.
“Xallion,” He heard Astraea’s voice, “why are you always so late?”
“Because I’m always hungry~!” He chuckled.
Astraea pouted, “How rude! Anyway, let’s go finish exploring!”
Xallion smiled, “Alright, but I don’t think Myuu is too ready to fight.”
Myuu poked Xallion’s cheek and crawled on his arm, using its tail around his neck to not fall as it pulled out the Pokeball the Shuppet was held in.
“Don’t you dare.” Xallion glared at his friend.
Myuu smirked and pressed the small button on the Pokeball, releasing the Shuppet. Astraea squealed, “How cuuuuttttteeee!” She exclaimed.
Astraea petted the Shuppet lightly and it smiled, “What’s her name?”
“Shuppet, can’t really name a Ghost type without it sounding cliché…”
“Miyako then, that’s now her nickname.” Astraea grinned.
Miyako looked around nervously before quickly returning to its Pokeball. Myuu also started looking nervous before returning to its own Pokeball. Xallion looked in his bag when there was a rumbling sound. Xallion grabbed Astraea’s wrist and dashed through the door, though realizing it was already too late Xallion covered his neck with his arms as the roof caved in.
